Murray Campbell is a pension and benefits lawyer. He joined the business law firm Lawson Lundell in 1990 and has been a partner since 1993. Murray created Lawson Lundell’s Pensions & Employee Benefits Group in 1998 and continues to lead it. The group is now the largest dedicated pension and benefits practice in Western Canada.
Murray’s advises pension and benefit plan sponsors on all manner of legal issues facing their plans. He routinely collaborates with actuaries.
Murray was the Chair of the Pension and Benefits Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association (B.C. branch) in 1993-1995 and 2008-2010. He received his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in 1984 and is called to the bar in British Columbia (1990), Saskatchewan (2021) and Alberta (1985, inactive).
