Alicia Rollo is the Executive Director of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, assuming the role on July 1, 2025.

Alicia is a seasoned association leader with over 20 years of management experience and a bold vision for the actuarial profession in Canada. Her 15-year journey with the CIA has included leadership roles in membership, education and international affairs. Most recently, she served as Director, Education and International Affairs, where she led the transformation of the CIA’s qualification and education systems and advanced its global strategy.

In her career at the Institute Alicia spearheaded several landmark initiatives: the launch of the university accreditation program (2010), a strategic partnership with the Actuarial Students’ National Association (2012), the CIA’s first education syllabus and 50th anniversary celebrations (2015), the transition to virtual programming during the COVID-19 pandemic (2020) and the rollout of the CIA’s standalone education system (2022).

Her work continues to shape the CIA as a modern, member-focused, globally respected organization.
