Anabelle Caron

Appointed by: APOB
Anabelle Caron has worked and advocated for 20 years in the community sector in Quebec, and with women’s groups as a trainer and manager. Concerned about the working conditions in the community organizations she encountered, she quickly developed an interest in retirement issues and honed her knowledge through the challenges and questions faced in the field.
A two-year member of the pension committee for the Régime de retraite des groupes communautaires et de femmes, a multi-employer pension plan for non-profit, community, and women’s organizations in Quebec, Anabelle joined the Régime’s administrative team as general coordinator in 2020, having served for several years as administrative and community development coordinator for the Centre de santé des femmes de Montréal.
With a bachelor’s degree in political science and trained in program evaluation, Anabelle has developed strong analytical skills in assessing political issues and government policies affecting women’s living conditions and community organization funding. She uses her experience to analyze pension plan-related issues and women’s economic living conditions among retirees.
